Visayas | Philippines

The establishment of a flexible LNG resource that can be used to both generate power and supply gas in bulk or small scale (ssLNG Projects)  to other strategic locations​.

  • LNG import terminal with a total capacity of 1,200MW​;
  • Strategically located in the central Philippines​;
  • Co-located Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) plant to provide power to the local and national grids​;
  • Onward transhipping capability to support the establishment of grid scale CCGT generation;
  • Central LNG distribution hub to deliver and support small scale LNG (ssLNG) plants distributed at locations across the Philippines​;
  • Using the latest technologies of ISO containers as a “plug-and-play” for power generation substituting old diesel generation​.

India

A focus on a strategic west coast terminal capable of supplying both the immediate re-gas and future power needs of industrial corridors around Mumbai​.

Agreement signed with Dighi Port for a terminal site and future CCGT​.

  • All permitting in place for a 5m mtpa LNG terminal as well as direct access to existing national gas pipeline network.
  • Focus on an initial 1.5m – 2.0m mtpa re-gas tolling contract followed by the development of a range of LNG to power assets to support the future needs of industry, transport and the wider infrastructure being developed around Mumbai.
  • Sub-concession Contract includes a 10 hectare site for the future development of a 300+ MW CCGT IPP, negotiations ongoing for the PPA.
  • Ongoing negotiations for a 2nd FSRU with Cargo Group for their “Nargol Port” development, to serve as a tolling LNG Terminal.​

Africa

First LNG terminal located in West Africa supporting private industry as well as the capability to supply base load and distributed power across the region​.

A challenging continent in need of strong IPP where LNG to Power will play a big role. Resero Gas is looking at these opportunities with strong partners.​

  • Option to locate terminal in an existing port in Sierra Leone creating a central asset for the needs of the wider region.

  • Expectation that the wider macro environment in country will improve over the next 2 years allowing the project to proceed.

Nacala | Mozambique

Working with Partners to bring the best Technical & Economical Solutions for IPP.

KUIKILA LDA. promoter of the IPP-300MW CCGT, created SPV-NOR ENERGY to develop the project.​

Resero Gas has entered into an exclusive agreement to supply LNG and all the infrastructures to deliver Gas at a metering point that will supply the Power Generation Plant CCGT, including FSU, Re-gasification Unit, Intermediate Storage Unit, Pumps, etc.​

  • The LNG Terminal in the Port of Nacala – North of  Mozambique.
  • The CCGT is located few Km away – the connection is made  via a NG Pipeline.
  • The LNG Terminal consists of a FSU – Floating Storage Unit which is mainly a LNG vessel stationary in a Jetty.
  • An Intermediate storage and regasification unit are located onshore providing the gas to the CCGT power plant in a closed loop – LNG to Power. Alternatively the regas can take place in a barge next to the FSU.
  • A cryogenic piping, over the jetty, deliver LNG to an intermediate storage and to the regasification unit. The NG produced will be injected in the Pipeline feeding the power plant.

Greece

Creation of a ‘Virtual Gas Network’ delivering LNG for power generation across islands. Flexible systems allow dedicated design and implementation​.

Working with a local partner we are in the process of submitting an application to PAE | RAE for a LNG Terminal to serve ssLNG and small Power Generation to 7 Islands with the largest being 135MW​.
